About Elswood Cycleworks
Opened in 2015 by Martin Elswood, following on from the closure of W.F. Holdsworth. We have the simple aim of providing the best possible service for cyclists of all kinds.
We don't sell bikes and we won't try to sell you things you don't need.
We do however concentrate on making sure that both you and your bikes are looked after to the highest possible standard. Be it a well loved workhorse or a top end race machine your bike will not only be treated to workmanship that is without parallel but will be ready for you on the same day it is booked in, getting you back on the road with the minimum of fuss.
We stock a carefully selected range of parts and accessories, being a more compact shop, we must be picky about the products we stock. Every item on our shelves has been picked based on whether we would be happy to use it ourselves, from lights and locks to trouser clips every product strikes the best balance between of quality, performance and value that we can find.
Our wheel brand EC Wheels offers precision hand built wheels custom spec’d to your needs using the finest, most accurate equipment available. Our confidence in the build quality is such that we guarantee against spoke breakage for the life of the rim and have test wheels available to feel the difference for yourself.
